Composing with an Unknown
Each tree has (...) its own place in my park, which is frequently reserved for it in advance and awaiting that ‘chord’ which is to come, that one specific shape and colour, rather than any other. This also happens in music scores, where I often leave empty spaces where I still haven’t found the right sound or chord, but I already know more or less what it should be like. It is like composing with an unknown.
