About
Penderecki's Garden is a virtual space where you will meet its Host, the eminent Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. In this space, you can get acquainted with his work, biography, inspirations, and greatest passions.
The key idea of the project is to create a digital counterpart of Penderecki’s Garden in Lusławice, which is the composer’s great extramusical work born out of his passion for botany. We have applied advanced 3D laser scanning technology in order to situate in this space both Penderecki’s music and sounds of nature, his favourite trees and masterpieces of modern culture, memories of his friends and outstanding interpreters of his music. We have thus created an online image or semblance of Krzysztof Penderecki’s fascinating universe.
Enter Penderecki’s Garden and watch it grow.
